Austin City Limits Music Festival
Welcome back to The Mansions of Georgetown Blog! Starting last weekend and continuing at the end of this week, the Austin City Limits Music Festival takes place at Zilker Park. Head on out of your Georgetown, Texas apartment and experience a lineup of great artists this weekend.
Included in the lineup: Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Travis Scott, Odesza, The National, Hozier, Khalid, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, X Ambassadors, San Holo, Gryffin, Shame, Wilderado, Kydo Jones, Molly Burch, Amen Dunes, Jungle, Highly Suspect, Father John Misty, Chvrches, Deftones, Trampled by Turtles, Flor de Toloache, School of Rock, and more.
Things to know about the festival:
Remaining dates: October 12 to 14, 11 AM to 10 PM.
Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. It’s recommended to leave any large bags at home. Or, don’t bring any bags and use the “No Bag” line to enter the park.
There is no smoking of any kind in Zilker Park.
If you’re bringing a camera into the park, basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras without detachable lenses and other accessories are fine. Monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed.
E-Cigs or Vaping devices, hammocks, frisbees, firearms, framed backpacks, outside food and beverage, skateboards, tents, pets, walkie-talkies, umbrellas, glass containers, coolers, drones, aerosol containers, and inflatable furniture are prohibited.
Further info: “By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full body pat-down and metal detector search before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian. Families are encouraged to use our dedicated Family Entrance, which is tailored to children and families.”
